Guthrie Fund
In 1985 the society was bequeathed a trust fund from the estate of Mrs. M J Guthrie in the name of her husband, Douglas J Guthrie, who was himself an ENT surgeon in Scotland. Through their generosity, funding is available to support educational projects. Applications are considered by the society council at their meetings held twice a year.
We are now welcoming abstract submissions for the summer meeting being held at the Doubletree by Hilton, North Queensferry on Thursday 8th & Friday 9th March 2025. These should be submitted by Friday 21st March 2025 and should be in the usual JLO format. Please state if your submission is for poster or oral presentation. Every submission must have at least one author who is a member of ENT Scotland who is fully paid up with their subscriptions. If an author is a newly appointed higher surgical trainee, they will have the opportunity to become a member before the meeting if they wish to submit. All applications to be sent to entscot@gmail.com.
